First volume has a gift inscription on front endpage.

Covers show moderate to heavy wear. The heavy wear pertains to the spine on a few of the books as you can see in the pictures.

Volume 4 contains the heaviest damage to the spine. Most of it has torn off.

Volume 3's spine has a portion of the title on the spine missing and a long tear down middle.

Volume has a tear the goes all the way down the spine and was taped by previous owner.

The spines of the rest of the volumes are in good shape with a few small tears here and there.

Pages clean are in great shape. Page 190 & 191 volume 6 are the only ones found with a large stain caused by a piece of paper being stored there.

The bindings of each book are tight and joints are in good shape.
