Covers contain moderate shelf wear, some stains. Gilt lettering show various degrees of fading.

Pages are clean and in great shape; Some light stains can be found. Previous owner wrote name on front end cover. 

Bindings are tight. Volume 5 contains heavier wear, where front inside hinge shows lots of wear but still intact, and from front end page - page 2 shows pages becoming lose from binding but still barely attached. Also has a drawing in pencil on the back end page.
