Per the magazine's masthead, Bonsai Today was published bi-monthly by Stone Lantern Publishing Company of Sudbury, Massachusetts, under license, with the original edition by Kindai Shuppan of Kyoto, Japan. Printed in Spain. The issues shown carry illustrated how-to articles on bonsai care and training (wiring, pruning, propagation, transplanting), styling demonstrations, bonsai pots and suiseki, and galleries of bonsai masterpieces, as listed on the covers.
