The exterior is defined by deep blind-stamped geometric border paneling on the boards, paired with an intricately gilt-tooled spine featuring five raised bands and floral quatrefoil panel accents, showcasing late-19th-century American craftsmanship. Cover shows moderate shelf wear with rubbed edges and some finish loss along spine. Front flyleaf features a direct book stamp of previous owner, Lynval Davidson (1887-1964) whose collection was sold by Parke-Bernet in 1969. Pages are clean and in great shape. Binding is tight and firm.
