Olive green cloth boards with red and gilt rose design, rubbed and soiled; rear board with a patch of surface loss/staining near the top; corners bumped. Spine frayed at the head and tail with light soiling; title still legible. Pages toned with foxing, heavier on the endpapers and preliminaries; tide/damp marks at the gutter edge of the frontispiece and half title. Fore edge of the text block spotted and soiled.
